Taken in the Italian Dolomites after a period of heavy rain. Several streams converged to create a beautiful little waterfall, flowing over the lush green vegetation.
Here the rare Lady Slipper Orchid can be seen up close. The name calceolus derives from the Latin for 'shoe', and refers to the slipper like appearance of the pouch. Here the flower was partially lit creating some beautiful light on the surrounding petals. Taken with a Nikon 105mm Micro.
This beautiful house built in Comillas was designed for the wealthy business man Máximo Diaz de Quijano, who unfortunately died shortly after its completion.
